THE STORY

The Beggin’ for S’mores kit contains graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows, and matches. The kit is meant for all ages, but kids should be monitored by an adult if near an open fire. S’mores can be made while hiking, in the kitchen over the stove, and even inside of a microwave. The challenge of the project was to use only tints and shades of 2 colors and to avoid using glue completely.

FONT CHOICES
The font chosen (Alba Super) mimics the curves of the melted marshmallow and chocolate design and makes the project appear more fun and family-friendly.

COLOR PALETTE

I chose to use two different color browns—one each to match the color of a graham cracker and chocolate bars.

PACKAGING DESIGNS

The project consists of two lids (top and bottom) to mimic an actual s’more with a graham cracker that keeps the contents sandwiched between them. The contents of a typical s’more includes marshmallow and chocolate bars melted into each other. This part of the packaging the contents from the outside and inside. The contents do not keep up the same literal translation of a s’more, but instead uses fun vector patterns of each item. The entire packaging is made using only tabs and is pieced together the same way a real s’more would be.
